About Electronics

Electronics is the study and use of electronic devices such as thermionic valves and semiconductors that operate by controlling the flow of electrons. The main uses of electronic circuits are the controlling, processing and distribution of information, and the conversion and distribution of electric power. Generally, most electronics systems are either control systems or communication systems.

The development of electronics is "born" in the invention of radio. Today, electronic devices perform a much wider variety of tasks.

Typical Electronic System

An electronic system is to divide it into the following parts:

Input - Signals from transducers which convert other form of measurements into electrical form

Data Processing - Electronic circuit with interconnected electronic components to analyse the input signals.

Output - Electronic signal converted back by transducers to its useful practical level
