The
washer tub fills with water but the machine doesn't run. If the
motor makes a humming sound go here.
If not, try these steps:
1)
Make sure the lid is closed completely.
2)
If there is too much laundry in the tub, it can trip the motor circuit.
Remove some clothes, wait 15 minutes, then restart the machine.
3)
Washer went off balance and tripped the switch. Redistribute
the clothes and close the lid.
4)Check
for a tripped circuit breaker at the main panel.
5)
Check for a motor reset button. Try pushing this button.
- If the machine has been running fine, the stops suddenly, wait
a few minutes and push the reset button.
Remove
the access panel and check for a loose connection at the motor.
Re-tighten, if necessary.
If
none of these tips help, there could be a problem with the control
