Upon
removing the main access panel, you observe the motor spinning but
the drive belt is not or is moving intermittently. This is a drive
belt problem which may require replacement. Try these tips first:
1)
If the belt has a lot of play, loosen and slide the motor so there
is a 1/2 to 3/4 inch in the belt.
2)
Check that the pulley is tightly attached to the motor. If not,
then tighten
3)
If the belt is worn and frayed looking, replace it.
If
the belt still won't turn there is a problem in the washer transmission.
Call in a professional.
My washer fills up and with water normally,and also drains... but it is not agitating.... HELP!!!
