Washer Not Filling Up

Washing Machine      
Several problems can arise from improperly positioned or otherwise problematic washer hoses:

Washer drains in between cycles -
Check the drainage hose in the back of the washer. Some part of the hose needs to be above the water line of the washer (about 3 feet) otherwise the washer will drain as fast as it fills up.

Water is running into the tub but it is not filling up-
Again this is a problem with the drain hose not being at a proper height in the back of the washer to contain the water. Simply raise the hose and the problem is solved.
